TD for : for their hours and Select Service account.
They have a lot of locations in my area as well, but not sure if this is true for everywhere.

At least they have hours that you can get customer service. As opposed to 10-4 M-F

'banker hours' are useless now a days with various shifts (how do you go to the bank between 930 and 4 when your work hours are 9-5?!)

Scotia don't need your money lol, they generate their revenue else where.

TD hands down. Been with them for almost 10 years. Great. Never had an issue.

It might also depend on where you are and what is close. Even though TD is good - if you have a different bank close to work/school and home it might be better to go with them. I guess it depends on how much you go into the branch. But since you want a B&M bank you probably go in frequently.

I think TD definitely has the best hours out of them all. However their fees are among the highest, so you gotta make sure you have enough money to avoid them.

TD is good for hours, as well as CIBC

Desjardins is bad although their "free transfer between accounts" is nice (CIBC charges for email money transfers, etc)
BMO I've had a terrible experience but probably related to the branch.

CIBC has free checking when you hold a credit card, checking and saving account, no minimum balance.. beats the fees of other ones!
