What is the best place to get Snowboard/Ski Gear?

I'm looking for a good jacket and possible pants.

I'm a noob and I have 10K pants, but after a day of falling, I was definitely wet.

Any brand I should look for too? Thanks in advance

What's your price range? Very high quality waterproof and breathable pants and jackets can go up to the thousands

Up to 250$. I don't wanna be that guy all decked out in nice gear... but sucks ass. I'll get better gear when I get better skills lol. 10K minimum because right now I fall and I don't want to be drenched.

I spent on the board, bindings and boots because I was told they're the most important.

Check out The Last Hunt. They're unloading alot of winter gear right now, so it's on sale. Ensure to read reviews on the items though, as there are no returns allowed.

Check out Mec as well. Patagonia.ca is having their winter sale now too.

Ski stores usually have sales in the summer with huge discounts.

If you want to keep your bum dry, get yourself a pair of goretex pants, anything else you'll still have a damp butt after a full day of snowboarding

Are you looking for gear immediately or next season? You haven't mentioned where you are from but in GTA you can try Ski and Snowboard show (usually around Oct each year). My first pair of pants were 10k waterproof too (from SportChek) but I found a better brand already makes the experience a lot better.

Also, your pants getting wet while learning may not be entirely the pants' fault - when you fall and if your jacket is quite loose, you will get snow up your body and down again from your pants. What you should also keep in mind is a jacket that has that little elastic waistband (?) thing that keeps the snow out. Or look for undershirts which are not cotton. I found when I fell a lot my inside shirt is drenched which leads to the rest of me getting drenched.

I live in Woodbridge. And I'm looking for now, since I think we will get a couple more snowdays.

I bought a whackload of stuff from Sportchek.ca... lots of stock, quick delivery... I couldn't be happier. All set for next season.

Sporting Life also has good sales right now but their stuff is more premium.
