What is a corporation certificate number?
I have an Ontario corporation and a corporation number.
When I try to register with the CRA for a business number, it asks for a certificate number. I can't seem to find anything like that on my certificate of incorporation or even on google!!
I tried using my corporation number, but that doesn't work. CRA just says can't proceed, doesn't even tell what the issue is. I tried calling, and they said my corp. # is not in their system yet (I incorporated 2 days ago).
Really pissed at this point as I really need an HST# and CRA is TERRIBLE!!!!
