NEW YORK -- A bankrupt electronics retailer appears to have gotten caught up in the investor fervour for Twitter.

Shares of Tweeter Home Entertainment Group Inc. rose as high as 15 cents Friday. That's up 1,400 per cent from Thursday's closing price of 1 cent.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Wall Street's industry regulator, says the shares were halted Friday afternoon because of a misunderstanding related to the "possible initial public offering of an unrelated security."

What could have gotten investors so confused?

Tweeter trades over the counter, under the "TWTRQ" symbol.

Twitter on Thursday offered investors details about its highly anticipated IPO and proposed the stock symbol "TWTR."

But Twitter's stock won't be available for trading until the company actually goes public. That could be before Thanksgiving.

Really deciding on whether or not to buy more RKN. Already up 40% in 2 months from my last addition, percentage gain much more since my earliest position at $1.12. Will probably not add more though until the next earnings release to gauge how the push to software as a service will increase profitability.

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

I don't look at stocks/prices with the intention of buying them, so I couldn't help you there. What I look at are indicies -> Prices of index ETFs that I follow and they've been dropping over the past couple of days. VUN is looking attractive for me as a long term position part of my main portfolio, as well as CDZ/XDV - Dividend ETFs that I splash a little bit into every month on the side.

I know a lot of people were talking about FireEye. Big drop today.

Big drop on google, trading around $855. Earnings next week. Might be a good play.

Facebook, big drop today.

SWIR big drop today.

NFLX big drop today, though I think NFLX will continue on a downward trend.

Might be more drops tomorrow and next week or so with this new Yellen lady.

Ford is great. Will be adding whenever its 16.75 and under. the dividend is pretty good compensation for the wait as well.

Closed GLD Jan 15 $125 P for $13.1 (19.6% gain).
Gold is one descending wedge formation now, which usually resolves up. Will re-enter on another trade after this is defined.
