What do you use to hold your phone/keys while jogging?

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good "gear" to hold my phone and keys while jogging besides an armband or a fanny pack? Someone recommended a flipbelt, but it looks like the items are going to fall out as the person is jogging.

I can't help on a suggestion for your phone, I was going to suggest an armband (that's what I use)

As for keys, I have my house key on one of those detachable key rings and loop it around my finger like a ring and hold my key. I don't trust pockets during a run =)

Phone arm band or my nike shorts have a phone pocket inside, keys either the back pocket of some nike shorts, or elastic band.

A single key in your socks work well if your not wearing low cut socks or in spandex shorts. I often tie the key chain loop in the to my short strings.

I don't ever carry my phone running and even hate bringing it biking but ... How would I check face book

I hold my iPhone in my hand and hide my keys near my door. I just saw a ad for Flip Belt today https://flipbelt.com. I might get one, they are sold at Sport Chek. Although I'm a bit weary of stuff like this, I had a Belkin arm band for my iPod nano, which was suppose to be one of the best sweat resistant ones, but when I would go for a run the sweat would get the iPod wet and would often freeze and I would loose the Nike + data from my run, the sweat also ate away at the finish and metal. So I'm a bit weary of putting my phone in anything, but that was 5 years ago, so I'm hoping the sweat resistant technology has improved since than.

I have a flipbelt and it's perfect for holding my keys, id, phone while i'm out running. The key is to make sure to get the size belt that's just snug enough where it won't fall down or ride up. That way, everything inside the belt is held in held snugly and there's no chance anything could fall out. Only downside is thing inside might get a bit sweaty after a run.

They're sold at sport chek, and might as well pick one up during the F&F for 25% off the next few days!

Thanks litebrite , bought one for 25% off and went for a short run with it, brought my keys and my phone, I like it, I didn't really feel the objects and didn't feel like it was bouncing too much or pulling the belt down, it was too cold out to sweat, so haven't tested the moisture part of it yet, but so far so good.

single car key or house key tied within/around my shoe laces. i try to avoid bringing my phone these days as its just too big and gets packed with dirty sweat. if you run quite a lot its worth investing in a really good pair of shorts. they practically all have back and side zip pockets for gels/keys now

OP...first off, why would you be running with a bunch of keys? Most people will leave their belongings in their car, and just take the one key for the car with them, which can go on the inside pouch in your shorts. If you are carrying a hydration pack, there are zip pouches on both sides of the belt that goes across your waist

Your mp3 player (small, you don't need a phone) can clip onto your shots. I see a lot of people with arm band showing off an iphone 6 plus and the likes with wires dangling everywhere, when swinging arms.
