What is everyone doing for NYE 2020?

Going out?
Staying in?
Toronto/ Niagara?
Anyone has special events booked?
Chilling with family or friends?

I got lucky and able to snatch a nice deal at Hilton hotel in Niagara from Expedia deal for Black Friday 1 night stay. I will be going there tomorrow.

I was hoping to go down to Nathan Philips Square to watch the City TV New Years Eve bash with some friends. we found a baby sitter so our kids situation is covered, they have pizza and juice, while we will be riding the go and red rocket down town.

Hopefully asleep at 9:01 and then not woken up by any noise at midnight. After 41 trips around our star, the new year is now little more than a new number on the calendar, a change unworthy of anything beyond minimal celebration.

41? Damn.

For me? Spending it with a couple friends and my gf. Going to eat as much food as I can stuff into my face and have a couple beers.

Completely cut off liquor 2 months ago after realizing I couldn't handle it anymore so other than that there's no new years resolution for me (other than to cut off vaping / the odd cigarette once my week off gets here).

Drinking, video games, movies, and fooling around with the gf at home. One last bit of childishness before I cut out the alcohol and get serious in the 20s. The 10s were an altogether terrible decade for me and I have no intention of being the same person that allowed them to be so bad.

Report back on how it went.

I'll be staying in this year. I normally prefer to go out when I'm travelling.

They stopped doing it not long after Rogers bought the station from Bell Globemedia in 2007. Probably been at least a decade since it was last televised.
