I like Wolfenstein 3d better than Doom. Wolf3d was awesome. Doom was ok :)

Showing my age

Pong
Space Invaders
Asteroids
Donkey Kong

and a ton of other games that were arcade only in the 70s and early 80s....

Glad I can play them again on my bud's arcade emulator box like one of these:

I bought a sound card just to play day of the tentacle, doom blew my mind, but the game I keep going back to is the orange box..perhaps the best band for your buck in the history of gaming. Half life 2 is something I keep going back to and still be blown away. I have spent so many hours playing tf2 it's embarrassing! I also like Bruce lee for the Commodore 64.

For me though orange box...all the way

My favourite game of all time is Toejam and Earl (Sega Genesis)

But I also loved Final Fantasy III (6) on the SNES

Final Fantasy 9 - because it introduced me to the rpg genre and I had no idea what that was at the time. It had an amazing storybook tail and the graphics were amazing for the time. It's the only game I can remember exactly what happened from start to finish from first cut scene to the last(have no idea why I remember it).

And mario.

That generation had 4 great games for me: Doom, Jagged Alliance, Sim City 2000 and Warcraft.
Yes, early 90's the generation that started the FPS genre as a whole.

Final Fantasy IV (II - 1990 North America)
Lunar: The Silver Star

Best games ever!, They don't make RPG games like this anymore just dumbed down garbarge. They don't have the graphics of modern games but the game play is awesome and in their time the graphics where awesome.

ah, such a tough question. No doubt everyone loves Super Mario World.. it's a great game, and we all have such good memories of it.
But the greatest game ever made?

Super Mario 64, hands down for me.
Nintendo sucks. Steam sucks. I don't buy games. I buy licenses. #PCMasterRace
