What happened to the Metro paper freebie handlers?

Them and several dozen of the workers. Yonge Stn alone used to have 3 people outside. And that's the irony of it. The Star article (owns Metro) highlighted lack of ROE, insecurity, etc. but did the same to their own temp staff. But you are right. It's better to have NO job at all vs having a temp job. This will only force more full-time like jobs with benefits.
