What kind of Bug is this?

Cottage Woes...Last summer, dealt with ants. Got rid of them. This summer Found these at the cottage.
Anyone know what kind of bug this is?
They only appear around the door leading ti the deck and no where else.

In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

My parents bought a cottage in 1987 and it was a high earwig year. They were infested. Have never seen it as bad since.

These little f-ears eat the new flowers on things like peppers which I finally figured out one night. They are all over Ontario, and generally in weird places after a rainstorm.
