There is gap between gutter and roof, there is also some leaks possibly between gutter and downspout. My judgement maybe wrong, if you can give me some more ideas on how to fix the issue, it is high appreciated. See picture attached.

What material do I need to buy? I see many caulking and filler in home Depot, don't know what to buy.

It looks to be the flashing on the chimney that's the problem.

Yeah, that looks like the issue is on the roof. Given the time of year, depending on where the OP lives there could be melting ice and snow up there. If that's the case and there's no ice and water shield under the shingles that could enable a leak too if there's any water backing up.

OP, I'd suggest opening your attic hatch and shining a bright light in that direction to check for any interior leaking.

I would expect the leak is either at the flashing on the roof beside the chimney or you have water backing up under the shingles and no ice and water shield. If you can't reach it yourself you need a roofer or handyman. Be sure to have home owners liability insurance for a handyman. Water leaks can travel though so it could possibly be leaking further up.

Might just need some polyurethane caulking for the flashing at the chimney.

I'm not sure how that little 6 inch gutter can handle a heavy rainfall without spilling over. Did this happen during a rain storm or when the weather got warm after the cold with melting snow? The gutter could have been full of ice so until it melted any melting snow/ice or any rain would spill over. That spot looks like a place where snow would pile up on the roof against the chimney.

I'm curious. Do you have an actual fireplace, or is that stone work an architectural detail?

My guess here, is the leak is coming as the photo enclosed, with the black arrow on it.
Where the shingles are coming to meet the chimney, their is a back pan here. That may have failed, clogged up with debris.
Or their is a counter flashing that is embedded into the chimney, which goes over the top of this backpan to shed water. That should be taken a look at.
And it might be with the heavy water flow coming from the back-pan here, going into the gutter. What happens at times, is this flashing is not bent over to shed the water, into the gutter (like a metal drip edge). This allows the rainwater to get behind the gutter, causing that type of leak.
Fergy advice is good, to go that route also.
