What is the current Lowes wait time for the order? I placed one yesterday morning for two sheets of plywood and so far nothing.
Sent question yesterday by Contact Us form - if they can precut the sheet, and as of now only received confirmation and "case #".
So this afternoon tried the chat function. Wait time to connect was 2.5 hrs, then I asked "What is processing time in Niagara Falls" and agent replied non-answer "It differs between locations". Opened another Lowes.ca tab to check the order ID and chat moved there, but I was unable to type in it anymore. Refreshed that second tab and it just closed the session in both tabs.
Also here is something funny, wife was trying to order some smoke alarms, and here is picture of her shopping cart. The Lowes website seems to be real gem of functionality )

Following the Government of Ontario’s decision to allow garden centres and hardware stores to reopen to the public on May 8 and 9, respectively, all our garden centres across the provinces will be open and ready to welcome you again on said dates. As noted ... the inside of stores reopen tomorrow, Saturday
But ... I did do a car order recently
Very good experience
Ordered the night before
Got an order confirmation shortly thereafter
And then a pick up notice the next morning
Store was well organized
And curbside delivery was quick
Lowe's reopened to the public here on Monday (so 5 days ago already) and they're still slow as hell. My dad placed an order for something online Thursday (because there was an additional discount doing it through the website) and they still haven't confirmed it.
Lowes is terrible, I ordered a microwave on line from our local store, it said they are getting the order ready and should be ready in 2 hours, 2 days later it still was not ready, They told me there is a 3 week wait on it.
Screw them I canceled the order and shop elsewhere.
They are swamped with curb side pick-up. I called HD to cancel a recent order, unrelated to the delays, and they even offered to ship it to me for free. Have patience things will get better as they start to open up stores

Dont see how this is Lowe’s fault
Appliances often have to be ordered in ... not just in stock in store
And a 2 to 3 wait, is pretty much the norm in the industry
