What are the most powerful single slot cards?

I am looking for a readily available and powerful card, that is SINGLE-SLOT.
I recently got a beautiful beautiful slim case to use as HTPC and got everything else set up. The problem is there is the only single slot for PCI. It does take normal full height as well as low profile. I know there are a few GT 1030 out there, but I'd really need something with more power. I saw an Inno3D gtx 1050ti that is single slot, but it is not available near us.

There was a deal for a 1050 low profile card on newegg, but it was dual slot:

For an HTPC, depending on what you're doing, consider an APU. I have an A10-6700 in my mini ITX HTPC and it meets my needs, though I'm still doing 1080p content.

Edit - just checked on Newegg quickly and there are two Zotac single slot 1050s:

for sure it'll be doing from time to time 4k x265 hevc. And occasional gaming that will probably need 1050 - 1050ti at least.
The newegg links are single slot, but the heatsinks expand to dual slot. Doubt it'll fit.

I was looking into this too as I have a slim case and need a single-slot low profile card.

The 1030 with 2 GB RAM does NOT support 4K Netflix streaming. Minimum 1050 with 3 GB RAM.

Here's hoping that nVidia's 11xx series coming this spring will solve this problem for us slim single-slot types.

1050ti is the best I know of... well there's the GALAX GeForce GTX 1070 KATANA, but that's near impossible to find.

What case is this?

Yes, I do hope new cards would come out with some nice slim ones.

The only 1050ti I see that's indeed single slot is

I would probably buy for now it if it was available. But I can't find any store here on in US carrying it.

That's interesting, didn't know that. Kinda silly since Intel HD 620 and newer support it but maybe it's a marketing/money thing.

Yeah :( Unfortunately they don't serve the NA market, i'm sure even if you found an importer they'd probably charge you an arm and leg.

If you're only gaming occasionally, why not get a thunderbolt 3 external video card system?
