What should be the used gpu prices of rx 580/gtx 1060?

I found a rx 5804gb for $120
Rx 1060 3gb for $100
GTX 1060 6GB for 150

Performance wise I don't mind buying any of the cards, they're all fine for my needs and I certainly don't mind spending more if I can sell it in 3-4 months and get back a similar amount since I need a GPU asap for less than half a year.
But I'm wondering price wise, are they all fine? They do seem that way, since on this forum 1060 3gb seems like it goes for 100 while 6gb for 150.
I'm quite out of the loop on these things.

Thats pretty good for used prices. I mean there's always the super good deals but you can't really count those since they're really rare, especially if you need one now. Eg of super good deals I've picked up over the last 6 months is a RX580 4gb for $70 and a 1060 3gb for $75.

I saw a few on Kijji. They were "generic" brands with no markings from well known companies like NVIDIA, Asus, etc.
From my personal experience AMD video cards are subject to video tearing issues especially while streaming using Chrome, I don't know why.

Well done on scoring those cards! What site did you find them on?

Combination of Kijiji and Fb market place. Just gotta beon at the right place and the right time. But again, dont count on rare deals like that. The prices you listed are "fair".

Now is not the best time for video card , should got better when the new cards are finally in stock - that will likely pull used market to some "normal" state ...
Just remember if you see a good deal start the car - they don't last long

Honestly, i've only ever purchased through RFD's BST since I trust it quite a fair bit. So buying stuff kijiji/CL makes me feel concerned, especially for an item that needs to be tested. The idea of bringing a PC to a public setting is a bit nutty, and so is going into their home assuming they'd invite me to begin with, let alone with covid going on.

I found this https://toronto.craigslist.org/tor/sop/ ... 27533.html But it's literally just one picture, I could only guess that maybe it's good because the owner was diligent to still keep the box.
And there's this at the same price

A person on RFD who has a good sale track record had offered a 1050 3gb for 100 but he had stopped replying for whatever reason.

I also checked for the first time on FB marketplace and there's nothing there.

So if I go for either of those cards, would it be worth paying 150? Should I look towards bidding on ebay (I have zero experience with ebay). or do you have any other suggestions?

I think a $150 is "ok" price for now , and most likely you will be able to sell it for around $100 if you going to upgrade next year - just make sure it has the performance you need , your PSU has juce for it and case room and ventilation (those cards are not the smallest)

Are there any sources or "alerts" one can set-up to know when it might be a good or better time to buy without banking on luck to be at the "right place at the right time"?
