I'm still waiting for and will probably never see those cedar planks at Costco anymore.
My Superstore has smallish cedar planks at clearance pricing.

Already gone back to Costco to buy an extra package. Will buy more as soon as I open this one. Lol. Will probably buy a few and freeze.

I prefer spicy and savoury over sweet for mains, so I can only see myself eating this occasionally and on its own (I wouldn't eat it with vegetables or protein)...I had my garden salad beforehand. Let us know how the fruit goes with it.
I know!! It reminds me of something I've had before...lemon cheesecake maybe? I like them in a salad. Came across a recipe for ricotta lemon ravioli in a balsamic roasted strawberry sauce. That sounds kind of good. Different, but might be good.

I haven’t had that since like ‘07 in college.

All you can eat with drink purchase.

Presume you took advantage of the BOGO pizza hut deal that's in the Hot Deals forum. RFD effected.

Jerk pork, blistered shisito peppers and salad. Pretty tomatoes from the garden (they're tasty as well).

It's bbq... And it's dinner. The coin flip said to post it under dinner.

how was it compared to oil deep frying? With leaner meat I think oil fried might come out on top

Used avocado oil spray and yes if you use leaner meat will be dry but used chicken thighs here.

Haven't deep fried at home.

No I just use a veggie peeler and then cut them in strips. I never tried those tools but it’s just an extra thing I don’t need in my drawer

I did that thing again. Turning an ugly, difficult piece of cheap meat into delicious.

Beef neck @ $3.99/LB.

The meat yield is not bad all. Made 5 generously stuffed tacos. Those pics are the nicely dished ones for pics. The others were overly stuffed Xtra meat tacos. Lol.
Had enough meat left over to make shredded beef omelettes for lunch the next day.
