I would be interested also. As I am thinking on a new civic.

They say new ones are not as good as old ones. But I am not sure? Why would Honda decrease their performance.

Because of their 1.5L turbo engines that's been causing problems lately.

I dont know why this thread gets downvoted 4 times, because many people would like to know that, and because here is another RFD thread that got 3 upvotes. civic-owners-what-your-otd-price-2189212/

Anyway, you may Google for a few discussion thread in the US on the OTD price for 2020 CRV and Civic hatchback. You may get the approx cdn OTD by adjusting the currency exchange.

I'm close to closing on a Civic Hatch Spot CVT with sonic grey colour... $593 x 60 months, tax incl.
Anybody want to weigh in? Shopping around different dealers and this is the best I'm getting right now.
Better to wait in July? I always thought end of month was the best time to buy...

Lease or Finance?

If Leasing (doubt it from that price) that’s really high. I have seen leasing deals at $440/Month (Taxes in) including lease wear and tear on a 48 month term.

If it’s Finance, I still say you can do much better than that.

Civic sedan has much better lease/finance rates right now than the hatch.

You could lease top trim sedan for around $410/48 month, whereas top trim hatch is $563/48 months.
Not worth overpaying that much for a hatch.

It’s for financing.
Total cost comes out to about $35500, which is close to what Unhaggle shows as well.

There should be a sub forum for sharing out the door cost for all cars and trims.

People just don't want to learn that Honda is an absolute shit company and you can only expect headaches from them. Unless, you lease and get a new car every 3 years, at which point brand doesn't matter

Sorry to hear that u have had a bad experience with Honda, and u might have a lemon. My current Honda has been my among most reliable , and fun to drive cars. I have had a few cars in last 50 years. My other current and past Toyota cars have been headaches with numerous recalls, vs my Honda.

Ironically VW has reputation for unreliability and unfriendly but my experience with VW has been nothing short of pleasant experience. My brother who disliked VW now joins VW. Gone are the days of past generalizations since almost every brands are near reliable as others. They have come the long way.
