A close up pic will show if the pixels are RGB or RGBW

You re correct, it is RGBW. Now i saw this video and is making me more confused because this RGBW seems like a PLUS.
. I just had my neighbor bring his 5500 by to compare...lol. the 4k video looks better on 7650. We both agree. I dont understand this. From 8ft out the 7650 looks superior. Ill never be up close. I got in touch with a senior tech analyst and this was our conversation

9:25 PM Dino Renna: hello, i just purchased the 65uh7650
9:25 PM Dino Renna: now being told by a representative at best buy that this is not true 4k
9:26 PM Jomar: Hello Dino.
9:26 PM Dino Renna: that it uses a RGBW and not RGB structure
9:26 PM Jomar: I see. Don't you worry, I'll be more than happy to assist you with that.
9:28 PM Jomar: This TV model is a 4k TV, the resolution of the screen is 3840*2160.
9:29 PM Dino Renna: yest but by using RedGreenBlueWhite, the white takes away a colur and its 25% less detail. I Am not happy
9:30 PM Jomar: 4k depends on the number of pixels on the screen, and yes this uses an RGBW to further improve the color accuracy and contrast ratio.
9:31 PM Dino Renna: what do i have to buy to get a normal rgb structure
9:31 PM Dino Renna: and are you saying rgbw is better?
9:33 PM Jomar: Yes, with RGBW panel, the white and black screen will be deeper and other colors will be more vibrant and have more depth.
9:33 PM Dino Renna: is it not cheaper, i keep reading reports that this is a fake panel
9:34 PM Jomar: The closest models from the UH7650 that uses RGB panel is the UH7700 and the UH6550.
9:36 PM Jomar: It is not, the RGBW color system is created to provide the same color accuracy as what OLED panel does
9:36 PM Dino Renna: and those are not better?
9:38 PM Jomar: The UH7700 is better but not because of the panel, that is because the UH7700 uses a 240hz refresh rate.
9:39 PM Dino Renna: is my set better than the 5500 or 6550, or would you reccomend i change it
9:40 PM Dino Renna: want an honest opinion please, RGB or RGBW
9:42 PM Dino Renna: hello?
9:42 PM Jomar: Yes, the UH7650 is better than the UH5500 and the UH6550 since this one supports dolby vision.
9:43 PM Jomar: Between RGB and RGBW, I personally select RGBW since it will provide almost the same picture quality with OLED models.
9:45 PM Dino Renna: alright thanks!

This is technically an ad.

If it passes your own eye test, then it doesn't really matter.

The brick will have the Hisense HG seris 65CU6200 on sale for $1099 and from what I could find this Tv has or will have HDR via software update.

Reviews seem good for this TV.

Anyone has an opinion about this?
I am considering the LG 65UH5500 but this one seems to be as good from the reviews at sams club.

With a 6.8 score for tv shows and 6.2 hdr movies and 5.5 hdr gaming with the only green mark for gaming, I rate it poorly.

But to be honest the more I read the rtings.com scores the more I wonder if the difference between sets is that big as the numbers make it seem to be?
