What's wrong with my cedars?

I planted these cedars about a month ago and watered them diligently for 2 weeks straight. The last week or so I've noticed some leaves turning brownish. Do they need more water? Or could it be something else?

Thanks!

It may be just the shock of them being transplanted imho. Just keep them well watered and also spray them with water as well, their leaves absorb water too . edit.. well-watered does not mean soaking them everyday. Overwatering can kill them as well

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that transplanting could have that effect. I'll be extra careful about overwatering.

I'm not sure that watering them "for two weeks straight" is enough.

When I had a good-sized hedge of large cedars planted, I was given instructions to keep them well watered at the root level until frost. I followed the instructions point-by-point, using a soaker hose as well as a timer and the trees quickly grew into a privacy wall of green.

I agree it's probably just transplant shock especially if they're from a big box store - they don't care of them like a nursery would. The look pretty good - keep watering them until first frost. You might want to get a moisture to avoid over/under watering them. I find a soaker hose is also better. Did you add fertilizer and mulch when you planted them?

I only added triple mix when planting them. I was told that was enough?

Good point about the moisture sensor. Thanks
