The gate used is only to prevent theft of a vehicle, not the wheels.

I love wheels Honda uses on it's line up.

I would've kept my OEM's on my CivicX but had no plans on getting winters.

Even if they saw a truck being loaded with wheels doubt people gave two shits.

Simple fence rental, lights and security cameras could have saved them from embarrassment and insurance increases.

I remember in the 80s guys would wait beside the train tracks just outside Windsor for the truck/vans to start going past loaded on the trains, they'd jump on, slide under the trucks/vans and relieve them of their transmissions. The transmissions would get pushed over the side of the trains and collected by another guy in a rented cargo truck. Manufacturers had to start shipping their vehicles with grating along the sides of the train cars.

Thieves will always figure out how to get things easily, the less effort the better for them.

Had 15 brand new vehicle thefts and police recovered all of them. Thieves in Alberta are tragically stupid. You'd think they would have some semblance of an end game plan if they plan on stealing something as high profile as a brand new 2020 model year vehicle complete with transport mode speed governors, trackers, manufacturer GPS infotainment units, etc. that they can get a ping off of.

Mexico is where it's at. Vehicles occasionally arrive from there with missing wheels, batteries, accessories, keys, exhausts, etc. They show courtesy however, and will go through the trouble of replacing the wheels they take with old undesirable spare or damaged rims and tires and maybe thread on 1 to 3 lug nuts to finger tight. Once saw a 2019 Ram Powerwagon that usually comes stock with 33's, they were switched out for an 18" rim with a low profile 35 series sidewall tire, I doubt it was intentional to make it look as goofy as it did, but I still enjoyed the humour of it.

Those Accord Sport Rims are awesome, probably good to not buy a car from that dealership as it looks like they dropped the cars into the ground.

The dealer will fix anything that is damaged before they sell it. You'll never know and they won't tell you either.

No. This happens at a lot of dealerships and all the time.
