When is it the best time to buy cheap Halloween candy?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but when would it be cheapest to buy those bulk 50 pack of halloween candy? Considering it was Halloween tonight. In the morning?

There should be a boatload of leftover candy & treats this year

In other years if you haven’t got it on Halloween, you probably aren’t gonna find any
Rare there’s much in the way of “leftovers”

Our Walmart had it down to 50% a week before Halloween. It could have been due to the move to Modified Level 2 in my region around the same time.

Wow are the chocolates ever tiny! Are they even a bargain at half price when you can get full sized for a few dollars more at Costco?

Yes, I noticed that this year. Even the Reese peanut butter cup is a fraction of the old ones (when they just packaged a normal size cup).

was at walmart this morning and it was all listed as 50% off - really didn't seem like that great of a deal compared to sale prices. rexall and sdm prices were even worse - just a few bucks off the full price. maybe as the day goes on things will get marked down more?

You should have seen how many people were grabbing it fast at that price. I was in Walmart on Thursday too and there were hundreds of boxes. Now barely any. Lineups had people with stacks of boxes.
