I'm not even sure if it happens this year if that 2nd wave hits.

Jan 2023 after an effective vaccine has been found, manufactured, distributed, and injected to 60% or enough Americans and Canadians.Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Winking Eye

Americans don't want cheap Canadians to invade their country and Canadians don't want gun toting Americans bringing their unvaccinated kids here. Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

We will....WILL see 2nd outbreaks at pockets all around the country. I'd bet parts of my body like McAfee would Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

Not for a long while.

So I didn’t vote ... cuz your Calendar doesn’t go far enough into the future

FACT:

More Cdns GO TO the USA
Than Americans COME HERE

And Cdns are far more EDUCATED & conscious about the spread of Coronavirus (including a 2nd wave)
Than the average American, or Even some of their Politicians (esp the guy in the WH )
Most of them have not even got their heads around the first wave ... with cases still on the increase
While we are past peak now in most Provinces
And truly understood what measures were being undertaken to flatten the curve
Buy us time ... and protect our fellow Cdns

Most Cdns understand that spread is increased by us travelling to less conscious (Lol UNCONSCIOUS) countries & then running the risk of catching it and bringing it home with us

So most Cdns are gonna push to keep the Border closed as long as possible
Both to limit any dummies here wanting to travel ... as well as KEEP OTHER CLUELESS FOLKS OUT

So I think that Border Openings, and even a lot of Commercial Flights resuming between Canada and elsewhere is a far ways off

End of Summer ... Fall at the earliest

And even then ... if Covid behaves like the 1918 Pandemic did
We might just see an uptick (start of 2nd wave) come October

Gonna be a lot of pressure put on our Govt to keep travel to an absolute minimum
Esp foreign travel

I don’t really care when the US border opens. I just want to be able to get back to Mexico.

Yes, I’m really hoping we’ll be able to go next winter, but I doubt it.

We’ll see.

WestJet is selling tickets for the autumn. Now whether they will fly is a different matter.

Americans are bad and stupid, am I saying it right guys?

Relax, Michael Moore. This glacier is a sleeper and a blip on the world radar.

We'll open to normal traffic in Fall 2020 or Early 2021.

I hope later in the summer before Sept 1. We want to head for Colorado to take a train excursion through the Rockies. But we'll see. We try to do a different excursion every year and last year was the Adirondacks in a steam train. It was great.

It's a risk reward society, and these stalwarts continue to vote for sensible government policies by and large.

I would say it depends on how quickly we can ramp up antibody tests at crossings. Without that I don't forsee a reopening anytime soon with the number of US cases.
