When ordering Gyros or any other meat on a bun or pita..

is there any etiquette issues if I want to ask for tender and not dry meat off the rotisserie ?
Example: I went to my goto Gyro place and rarely I get the dry/burned pieces of pork
instead of tender and moist. - this place usually has very good reviews so I was very disappointed.
I was really looking forward to enjoying my Gyro but most of the meat was dry and tips of the meat was burned - makes the thing almost inedible. -

Whats the best way of making this point when requesting a decent Gyro?

Thats pretty much a nice way of saying “do not fck up my order douche bag!”.

You know when people say something thats insulting but done so in a polite way.

I'd say you could probably just say 'not the outside please'. For a lot of people the slight char on the meat is the best part.

The charred bits are definitely the best part. Usually hard-to-get because places don't have time between customers to let it crisp up again

I like my steak cooked Medium Rare 129F and really juicy and tender. I want to see the future when I eat it. LOL

Just joking....tell them you like it "fatty" and then hope for the best or better yet, stop playing the field and only go to your GOTO Gyro place.
We're all bozos on the bus until we find a way to express ourselves...

Failure is always an option...just not the preferred one!

Do they griddle it after cutting out it off the rotisserie? If yes, ask them not to for your order.

Btw, what place serves pork gyro? I’ve only seen beef/ lamb gyros before.
Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best.
