When running self-employment while on EI do I report gross profit or net profit?

I'm trying to run an online business while on EI. I've let Service Canada know already and they're okay with it, however I'm confused as to whether to report my gross profit to them or net profit. If I have to report gross profit I would take a big hit because every dollar I make they take away $0.50 from my EI, it's possible I could end up with even less than if I wasn't doing an online business so I want to make sure. It's almost impossible to get someone to talk to from Service Canada right now because of the coronavirus so that's why I'm posting this.
