Where to buy Pot Lights

I went to a local electrical store.

The Liteline Slim LED + seems like it may be what we are looking for. However they are $28 each.

Does anyone know of a place where these may be a bit cheaper?

Or any other suggestion for a good quality LED?

If you are buying in bulk, check out Nadair pot lights on Amazon. $270 for a 24 pack.

You can get a 4 pack of 4" potlights at Costco for $40 right now. Don't expect super quality or anything but they are color changing so there's something.

You may also want to clarify what "local" means to you.

I think those were like $16 at O’Neils Electric, try city electric too.

Costco has packs of LED lights that are cheaper.

I’m not looking for cheap lights. I am looking for good quality lights for the best pride.

If I can save a couple dollar per light it adds up when buying multiple lights

Clearly make up your mind your wishy washy.

Let’s say you save $3 or $4 on a pot light, but you spend a couple hours looking for getting the best deal. Did you actually save money? No. Time is money.

Sure Costco can be cheaper, sure their return policy is good. Do you want to pull out the pot lights and reinstall them because you wanted to save a few dollars?

Think with your head not with your wallet. Go to a proper light store or home depot/lowes/Rona with an idea after reading reviews.

Forget the price get the quality.
Let’s say you make $100 an hour. You wasted an hour scavenging this forum and posting to try to save a few pennies. Your already losing money

Get good quality high CRI lights. Buying really inexpensive lights often ends up with issues in the dimming, uneven brightness, slightly off colours or washed-out, greyish light that doesn't display colours accurately. Given you'll use them all the time, I'd recommend getting decent ones. They cost more, but it's worth it to have a good lighting solution.

Any recommendations for 5000k pot lights and coloured pot lights?

These seem to be the most popular on Amazon.ca:
