Where can i buy some large fist sized stones to use as a circle for some shrubs

Got some cedar mulch going and want to circle it in some natural stones or rocks. should I buy some somewhere or head out to the forest?

I went to rona/home depot and they seem to have smaller pebbles/stones but nothing fist sized or larger.
