Where can I get a Chest freezer?

It looks like it’s sold out everywhere. Anyone has seen anywhere has one in stock?

You're way late to the pandemic hoarding game. If you're desperate, crank up the coldness on a fridge. Most can get cold enough to freeze the refrigerator area.

Thanks for the tip!

I ordered one from HomeDepot in March, when it showed in stock. Had to wait for a week for delivery. On the delivery day, I got a phone call and I was told it’s OOS. So I ordered one from Lowes, called the store, and was told they have a few in stock.. Till now, I have not yet got the ready for pick up email. So I went to the website to check again, it shows zero stock...

Checked all other online retailers, OOS...

Hoarders and preppers don't freeze - they preserve. Go old school.

Farm, hunt and then preserve. Have to have stock for winter.

Note: You'll likely get some substantial icing in this scenario, and you should turn the freezer to minimum. It does work, usually, but paying close attention to where you place items can help a lot with icing issues.

Have anyone bought any appliances from Badboy Superstore?

They have free delivery, seems like $80 saving there. How's their service, customer experience, etc?

Great to hear from all of you.

I generally don't prefer places the Leons, the brick or badboy. If it is $80 cheaper, go for it.

A chest freezer is a mechanically simple appliance, extremely reliable. Find the cheapest brand possible.

Everybody seemingly sells chest freezers ...
Including Cdn Tire, Walmart, and even Bed Bath & Beyond

And yes they tend to be extremely reliable

Still tho ... I would buy from Costco
Cuz lemons happen
And Costco is gonna have Brandnames, good prices
And their AMAZING Return Policy
Just in case ... ya know you end up with a lemon
