Does anyone know if wiping hands with baby wipes is good enough or do you have to us lysol wipes?

Seen some at Dollerrama along the sides of the battery might be different in other locations. Ordered some hand sanitizer from showcase a few weeks ago, free shipping over $40. Walmart and Staples have some but you have to check a few times a day on their site if you get lucky it goes quick.

Baby wipes do not kill viruses or bacteria on your hands. It may wipe off some of it for you though.

Huge YMMV, but try your local independent pharmacy. I've been getting periodic small shipments (e.g. 30 to 40 bottles) every month or so from my wholesaler. I received 48 x 473mL of One Step 70% sanitizer last week.

So do you wipe your hand with lysol wipes? Isn't the chemicals just as bad?

Hand sanitizer is enough. Lysol wipes isn't really hands.

Baby wipes usually do not contain any alcohol and are thus useless for COVID-19. I haven't come across anyone using Lysol Wipes for hand usage because they are not meant for that application, they are meant for surfaces labeled on the bottle. Do not ingest Lysol or any disinfect internally too unless you want permanent damage.

Clean hands with at least 60-70% alcohol sanitizer and it let air dry naturally, or use trusted and cheaper soap and water. You can even have your own soap and water mixed in a spray bottle on the go. Rinse with a bottle of tap water.

Using too much sanitizer or all the time etc, isn’t that also bad in general for health? Due to chemicals and all
Or is that all simply ok now because of pandemic?

I want to share this, as we just learned the non-alcohol hand sanitizer is not as good (sellerse do not tell you); for non-alcohol, we have to rub hands for much longer (up to 10 mins).
"Alcohol-free hand sanitizer prices are skyrocketing, but they don't actually work to prevent the coronavirus"

From CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... e-faq.html):
Are benzalkonium chloride-containing hand rub products an acceptable alternative to ABHR for COVID-19?

CDC does not have a recommended alternative to hand rub products with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol as active ingredients. Benzalkonium chloride, along with both ethanol and isopropanol, is deemed eligible by FDAexternal icon for use in the formulation of healthcare personnel hand rubs. However, available evidence indicates benzalkonium chloride has less reliable activity against coronavirus than either of the alcohols.

Liquid or Gel? Also whats the NPN or DIN? It doesnt appear on Health Canada's list

Edit: Found it in store. NPN 00167630. However, it label and company doesn't match what Health Canada lists for the same part. So buyer beware !

Please don’t hoard. Only buy what you need so everyone can get a bottle.
Use soap and water at home instead of these sanitizers
