Where to find best deals for weights?

Kind of depends on what you want:

These were on sale for $1.77/lbs (which worked out to right around $2/lb after tax) a while but now back to $2/lb (pre-tax):

The shortage is over. Just don't expect to get anything for $1/lb like 2 years ago.

Weird, but buying new from regular retail is probably the best deal
most local stores (fitnessavenue, treadmillfactory, fitnessdepot, xtcfitness) all have stock now

on the other hand kijiji are now filled with idiots trying to sell their used weight and equipment for 50% premium over the retail stores. (e.g. I still see lots of $2.5-$3/lb weight, $200+ for a rusted no name barbell, $600 for rack stores have in stock for $400, etc)
