Where to get quality OCV for Kia Sorento?

MY15 Sorento 2.4L throws a P0011 code, measured the OCV solenoid and the resistance is out of spec (6.9~7.9ohms, measured 9.1ohms), will replace this OCV solenoid before replacing other possible part and keep my fingers crossed.

Where to get quality OCV other than KIA stealership?

Thanks

Rockauto, Local parts store, or Canadian online store like PartsAvatar.ca, TheWrenchMonkey.ca, etc.

Thanks! Where can one get OEM KIA Intake solenoid other than the stealership?

There are quite a few non-OEM branded one on amazon.ca but don't want to risk it....

Out of curiosity I looked it up on Rockauto and it ranges from $25-100+. They do sell Hyundai OEM ones for $100+.

As for the other options, you would have to call your local stores to ask, or go to the websites I posted to look up.

Rockauto usually has the best price for both aftermarket and OEM, but they don't always have the OEM stuff (in this case you are lucky they have both intake and exhaust from Hyundai). Canadian stores are unlikely to have OEM part. I would imagine mechanics here usually go to the dealer for OEM stuff, cause I once called a dealer for quote on some parts, and they asked if I'm calling from a garage, and they likely will give discount (10-20%) if I were from a garage.

Are you doing the work yourself?

Yes always DIY my self in my garage, but this time the root cause can range from a bad solenoid to a xxxxed up timing chain......

btw the solenoid specs says 6.9~7.9 ohms, and now after the engine had cooled to 20celsius the reading is exactly 7.9 ohms..... does it mean the solenoid is on the verge of going bad? Any insights for this P0011 error code? thanks

If it were not the solenoid, i will bring it to a shop as it is probably something related to the cam valve portion or chain which is not serviceable by myself......
