Where to get wheels powder coated in Ottawa area

Hi

I have some wheels which have "curb rash" and some paint chipping. I was looking to have them powder coated. I would be repainting them in the same colour. Does anyone know a good place in the Ottawa area to have this done?

Thanks in advance

Alloy Wheel Repair in Kanata/Stittsville are pretty good for straightening bent rims, haven't looked into having them refinished/painted:

I have had wheels powder coated by RLD. They did a good job.

If you want your wheel repaired I have heard good things about alloywheelrepair.

http://www.pjacques.com/ will pick up your rims and fix them as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, gave RLD a call and they quoted me 100+ tax per wheel. They seem like professionals, I will give them a try.

I had my rims fixed here twice for curb rash. My summer rims are factory painted (gun metal), so any curb rash stands out. Anyway, both times they did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend Alloy Wheel Repair.

Had a mild curb rash on one of my M-Series rims last year. I took it to these guys, who did a good rob fixing the rash, but IMHO a less than perfect job painting the rim.

I removed the center cap and delivered a rim+tire. However, the rim features a small "M" badge/sticker/other just below the center cap;

Rather than take this off, paint the wheel and replace it, they did a crap job of masking the badge before painting the wheel, resulting in quite a bit of overspray.

I don't want to remove the badge for fear of tearing the paint, but when the car comes out of storage, I'll be trying to clean off the excess paint.

Oh yeah, they also took off my stainless valve cap and threw on a cheap plastic one. I had them go find and replace the original.

Hey, I don't have much experience with overspray but I had to deal with it once and hopefully never again. Some idiots at a body shop got it all over my brand new hood and right fender. Anyway, I used maguiar's ultimate quick detailer and fine microfiber towel and it came off quite easily without harming the paint.

Breaks my heart that it happen to those rims, they're gorgeous. I hope it works out though...
