Where should I Register a Car? when most time outside canada

As I spend most of my time in Between the USA Mexico and Caribbean. With a about 3 Months at Most 4 months in Canada.

As I can only Claim residency in Canada.
Where should I Register my Car ? can I chose any province or Territory ? Which would be best?
There is no Province I spend more time in than another.

Talk to your insurance company. We keep our motor home registered in the US because our Canadian insurance company will not insure it if it's out of Canada more than 6 months per year (which is usually is).

What province are you a resident in?
Where is your DL issued?
what province do you pay taxes?
where do you have your medical insurance?
Where is the car normally kept, doubt you take it to the Caribbean?
Do you work outside Canada & bring your car?

the registration of the car depends on where its used most of the time, not on your residency. If you drive from US most of the time, I'd register it there.

The only place I can legally get Residency is Canada, even though I will be spending longer else where.
I can't take US registered car to Canada and I am coming back from spending time away traveling for a few years. I do freelance work.
If I am leaving the Car in the US and could have two Cars then I would have one for Canada and One for the US.

This is how my year could work.
if I spend a Month In the Yukon or PEI A Month in BC and a Month in Quebec and 2/3 weeks Elsewhere in Canada. Driving through Etc.
then 4 Months in the US In Florida and California And Month Driving around.
2 Months in Mexico and Rest of the time in the Caribbean.

Why do you keep bringing in residency ? your car registration has nothing to do with residency.
