Who can’t use a pen or two… or ten... or 20...

*** THIS IS NOW AN OLD THREAD, BUT IT STILL WORKS***

JUNE 2021 UPDATE:

Discover completely updated their website, and you have to create new accounts.
There were more items to select, but they are systematically removing items.

A lot of stuff is and may be always out of stock, since they have been this way since day one.

I think they are actually checking each order this time, so no guarantees anything will ship.

Please do not order, then throw out anything unnecessarily!
Whatever you do not want to keep should be donated to your favorite restaurant.
(the owner would most likely be grateful... even offer you a free meal)

Pens are always useful…

This is a two part thread, from two different companies, AMEX and Discover Cards.
Everything here is totally free, including shipping, but you are supposed to be a business to request anything!

That being said, I know nobody will abuse any of this! ;)

AMEX Complimentary Signs and Supplies

https://merchant-supplies.americanexpre ... atalog/All

1 - Add whatever you want to the cart
***Please read each description carefully, because some items come in bulk, so if you order 1, you will get many!

2 - Checkout

3 - Guest Checkout (unless you want to create an account)

4 - Enter your details

5 - Confirm your order

6 - You will receive an order confirmation email, but you will not receive a shipping email even though they say you will, but the items will arrive within a week!

Here are just some of the items:

Discover Signage and Supplies

https://www.discoversignage.com/

1 - You must create an account first in order to see anything they offer!

2 - Click on the word Catalog to see their products. (screen shot below)

3 - Add to whatever you want to the cart, checkout, and you will receive an order confirmation email, as well as eventually a shipping notification email with tracking!

***Once logged in, here is a direct link to their pens: https://www.discoversignage.com/catalog ... cover-pen/
***You are limited to an order of 2, but that means 2 packs of 10 pens. (20 pens total)

There are a few other items, but nothing like AMEX.

So that's why I see so many of those Amex cheque presenters at Asian restaurants with the Amex logo stickered over.

Will the pen not work in your house?

Why limit yourself, use the Discover one instead. ;)

Are there no bounds on the RFD appetite for freebies?

Judging by this forum, RFD members do returns of their purchases, or immediate cancellation of online orders, far more than the average person.

Will the grocery store lane dividers be returnable to Amex?

I don't know, but these things are made out of aluminum and will last forever, so order enough of them, and you will have the largest Jenga! ;)

Thanks OP. My business does accept Amex, so these supplies are actually relevant for me.

Website is slow. Perfect for my buddy's shop tho.

Edit: Hopefully no duties with FedEx for those pens.

I don't think they have any "dual-logo" pens, so they will send 4 packs of the "Discover" pens... At least that's what they did for me!

Actually, that's how slow their site always was!

There's also nothing to pay, it says the shipper is responsible for all fees!

Then the AMEX ones are the way to go!

They have a peel-n-stick holder with a plastic spring like attachment to the pen... No more missing pens! (although they are easy to just pull off the pen and walk away) ;)
