Who is your favourite builder?
Interested in folks’ opinions about SFH builders. I’m very partial to Heathwood. Thoughtful designs, great finishes and they’ve been great to work with.

You realize there are literally hundreds of builders out there in Ontario registered with Tarion. You could have at least setup a poll or something....

A lot if the builders use the same sub contractors …. So quality wise - they’re pretty even
Just a matter of what quality level finishes you choose to pay for ….
Or what floor plans you prefer - but most floor plans are are cookie cutter and similar between different builders
Long story short …. Unless you’re building a custom home … you’re just comparing similar cookie cutters

most are the same which is crap. A few are really good. I'm still trying to figure out if trades are BAD, if they don't have the time to do a good job or if the builder just has shitty QA.
