Why does 5g phones have better cameras than non 5g versions?
I thought it's just the chip and not the camera but according ot dxomark all the 5g phones are usually a couple percentage points higher.

Outside of them maybe putting a better sensor in the more expensive 5G phone, results will be the same (see Samsung Note 10+ and the 5G variant).

Bleeding edge phones cost a ton. Manufactures can afford to pack in the most expensive components. Nobody is going to put in the best camera into a burner phone.
Public Mobile $40/15GB, $35/20GB, lot less with rewards

Oh that's it? Thanks for the reply. I didn't know it was so obvious. I just assumed the only thing that would be different is the 5g chip.

Nope, manufacturers are putting all their highest end features into their 5G phones.
