Wifi camera with battery?

I am looking to buy a wifi camera that is battery operated. I need to spy on some attic rodents... Arlo seems to be my only option but for this situation but I would prefer something inexpensive. Does anything else exist cheaper thank Arlo? Would also like this relatively soon and do not want to wait for long China shipping.

Just stick a cell phone up there, it does more than take selfies and Facebook!

Not much...Arlo is designed to run off of a battery. Big difference than just taking a camera and throwing a battery on it. Youd probably only get 1-2 days of battery life. Arlo gives you 3-6 months IIRC.

You might want to get a camera with infrared illumination, as rodents would be more likely to come out to play in the dark.

If you have a spare phone, there are apps out there that can take pics upon motion detection.

I think it should last a while if my math is accurate.

Nest cam requires 5 volts 1 amp which works out to around 5 watts.
The battery is 20000 mAh which works out to around 2400 watt hours....so about 20 days with a Nest cam plug in.

You should be trying to kill them, not make videos of them.

Get some traps, you'll have plenty time to look at them once they're dead.

I have blink system installed throughout the house. Not cheap but very good. They were just bought out by Amazon.

If it's for rodents why WiFi? Why not get a trail camera that runs off AA batteries?
