Don't hold your breath for Canada, it will be at least 2 years until it could be approuved in Canada.
Even if approved for Canada lets hope it does not get neutered like 5GHZ.

FCC approved 5GHZ for outdoor consumer electronics years ago but IC still has not approved it. So things like Outdoor WiFi cameras and WiFi doorbells can only legally be on 2.4GHZ in Canada.
An example is the Google Hello and Nest Cam Outdoor which are available in 5GHZ in the US but Canadian hardware is limited to 2.4GHZ. 2.4GHZ in most neighborhoods are just too congested to support 24/7 1080P cloud upload recording.

and the cost to buy it for clients? considering mu-mimo for ac1200 2x2 are still ridiculous for just usb wifi at around +30 bucks for no names? wifi is only as good as your clients.

That's not exact. 5GHz is actually a couple of subbands, only 5.2 GHz is not allowed outdoor in canada.

WIFI6E will be more used in VR, industrial LAN, and backhaul for meshnetwork.

I've had an avalanche of aspiring IT professionals in my network leave for the US.

Old story, but if you're halfway competent, this country pays garbage compared to prime US cities. Those that started US businesses are now multimillionaires, not this $1 to $5 MM nonsense.

A story older than time itself, in fairness.
