Boom and Bust Calgar…
I would say it's totally dependent on the CT you go to and the mood of the person you're talking to.

Wear something that shows a lot of cleavage.

1st said no.
2nd said yes but need to install at their location and must add the $52 5 years warranty

Why not just call Canadian Tire and get an answer in seconds?

OP did that see Reply # 4

My Reply # 5 agrees with Reply # 2 by @caltran

Cuz Cdn Tire is a Franchise ... things can differ by store

Lol, I think the OP wrote this thread cuz he believed based on Cdn Tire Policy in their website that things were going to be the same universally ... no matter the store

Ya no. Franchise Owners seem more & more to set their own rules these days.
And there is NOTHING the consumer can do about it

It’s a HUGE PEEVE for me ... why should a franchise owner get to fly the banner
But not follow the guidelines
It’s just NOT RIGHT

Want to make up your own wing bat rules ... then be Tom, Dick, or Harry Tire

Oh ya ...no one wants to do that either ... as having the Corporate affiliation is far more profitable
THEN FOLLOW THE DAMN RULES that come with that logo

Totally missed that, makes way more sense now.

It's kind of like calling Fido, some reps will give you a great data plan no problem, others will tell you it's not possible. It sucks and as I get older I have less time and patience to "shop around" and call many times in order to find the one guy that will actually want to help me out...

Worst part is their inconsistent return policy. Like you can't return one item in store A but can return in store B and store B probably will just sell it as new

Price matching is just a myth now.

Go buy them where you get the discounts. Save time and sanity.
