Will NBA ever Change their Logo?

I did a quick Google but only the late Kobe Bryant comes up. I'm sorry he died, he was amazing but it's too emotional.

IMO it should be Michael Jeffrey "Air" Jordan, IMO the G.O.A.T. The Last Dance, reminds us why he's the greatest of all-time.

I grew up in the 90's and I wasn't a Bulls fan, I love Charles Barkley (Phoenix Suns) and Reggie Miller (Indiana Pacers), I was hoping they would win but Jordan was too much.

So besides Kobe, has there been serious discussions about changing the logo?

Technically they changed it for their 50th anniversary and 75th anniversary (next season), but it was (is) still Jerry West as the silhouette.

The designer of the logo freely admits to using Jerry West for the logo design, but the NBA denies any connection to Jerry West. The reason is because they don't want to get sued by Jerry West or pay him royalties. Also they don't want one player to represent the entire league. The silhouette was supposed to be nameless and faceless. Same reason why they never changed it to Jordan... or last year when a lot of people wanted to see the logo as Kobe as a tribute.

Same thing with the WNBA. Many thought the first logo was Jerry West, but modified to look female. Including the other 2 times they changed the logo silhouette, the WNBA refused to acknowledge it was based off of any player.

Same here!!!!

I remember watching NBA as a kid during that era. I cheered for everyone else but Jordan. Not that i disliked him. He is the greatest of all time. And even though i was like 8 years old i could tell. But it just wasnt fun. Because every bulls game seemed kinda boring. They just destroyed everyone. Everytime i saw the bulls on TV it was an automatic win for them!
