Update: For those who asked, it goes back to $15/month after the first year per their twitter. They should've put this on their deal page imo, makes it less of a hot deal unfortunately. https://twitter.com/WINDmobile/status/5 ... 1871485952

Good deal, so tempted to put one on my iPad. But I don't see the point when I have 6GB/month bandwidth on my phone and I always carry my phone around..

Would also like to know if I can renew after 1 year. I am currently using their $10/month deal from last year.

Has anyone actually been able to successfully check out? Their system seems seriously borked.

Their page says this is a $205 value. But a Wind data stick is $59 + $10/mo regular price for 12mo is only $179. Am I missing something?

$15/month x 12 months = $180 + $25 (Sim card) = $205

Yes you can.
For android, use broadband.windmobile.ca for your APN settings.

I have some queries to ask:

1) Is this for existing and new customers? Or is it only one?
2) What is the cancellation policy if we are not happy with the service after few days or a month, etc? Will they credit back the difference of the $99?
3) Can we use this to price match at other carriers? I ask because Wind is spotty at my house, but not at other places.

I take it, its online only?

I was looking to get something like this for my Nexus 7 FHD LTE tablet.

ive been with wind for about 2.5 years now. lemme just tell you, their data is unusable garbage. i'm normally a heavy user, but each month i only use about 500mb. why? because you cant. at the times that you do get signal, data speeds are so excrutiatingly slow that you just wanna throw your phone on the ground. its better not to use it at all. unless you live right under a tower and dont plan on moving, i would not recommend wind to anyone, its just not worth the frustration. sure robellus will f*** you up the a**, but at least they have usable internet where you dont feel like shooting yourself in the head every time you try and use it. /rant

For those thinking about getting this for their Ipad. Only the newer generation ipads support the AWS band that Wind uses, so make sure your iPad is compatible before you bite.

This wont even work on an iphone5 first gen.

I wouldn't get it even if it were for $10 per 1gb ... Wind services is terrible and the internet is way to slow when ever you can get it to go ... I'm surprise they're still in business
