Winter shield cover for stroller

Hi,

I need to bring my 16 months old son in the cold winter for around 20 - 30 minutes and planning to purchase one of two following things below:

1. [Manito] Elegance Plus Cover

2. JJ Cole JBMOTG Original Toddler Bundle Me, 1-3 Years (Graphite)

Can anyone share your experience as this is my 1st winter in Toronto.

Thank you very much in advance!

You've got the right idea.

I personally went with the sleeping bag thingy and a regular rain cover for the wind. It worked well for us and the kid felt very warm when we took him out of the stroller. It was nice since we didn't have to dress him with snow pants and boots. Snow gear are a pain to put on and off for preschoolers!

If your looking for winter coverage for your toddler the 1st one you selected won't offer much. The JJ cole one has mixed reviews and isn't very warm still requires you bundle up your kid.

If you'd be willing to spend a bit more I'd consider a down filled cover for stroller and car seat like 7 AM ones either Revolution or Enfant.
Shop.ca has them on sale and with right promos + CB can be had less than $100.

The 7AM revolution is the one we went with its super warm, good for up to 3 yrs, expandable and can be used as down filled blanket. Has great resale value online, people selling used as high as $120.

For a 16 months old I will suggest just stick with a proper winter jacket/pants to start with, before investing too much. A 16 months old is old enough that he may not like to be bundled up like that for an extended time.

I think it's a great idea!
My 15 month old wears her winter jacket and think tights then we use the bugaboo high performance footmuf on the stroller.
