Can anyone confirm what speeds they are getting with the 75u? I always get 300 with the 150u.
Thinking of downgrading for $37.50 (which is what I currently pay for 150u from last year's promo).

Rogers is offering me Ignite 500U mpbs for internet for one year since existing customer for $54/ month. Anyone know if I should switch to this cheaper Fido?

Not sure about today but on Friday wireless wave was offering 100 in store credit for Fido cell plan members, and 50 if you didn’t have a cell plan. Deal should still be active.

Try downloading large file that takes several minutes and you will see it only is around 300 for little bit.

I've tried using multiple speedtests (including fast.com) and it always seems constant at 300. But I will take your advice and give this a try. Is it a reasonable test to use fast.com and set the test to last several minutes? Should I expect speedboosts of up to 300 if I switch to 75u as well? Thanks!!

Not positive but 75u unlikely to get speedboost to 300, more like mid 100s.
