Confirmed this also works at Toronto eaton center and dufferin mall. Cheaper than Fido chat and Fido stores, who told me I could only get it as an existing fido customer.

I just got it over online chat but was told 150u is actually 85$ so it comes to 42.50

Not sure. I've had DSL in my previous place. New place only has a cable internet.

I visited one of the locations and confirmed that this is for new account only. However the workaround is that you can put someone else's name (same household) and can technically get this. I will have to go back get this done later.

Claw back as in charge you a penalty if you cancel/renew before 12 month promo is over?
No, the discounts they give is for 12 months, but you can cancel it anytime.

Oh okay. Thanks. I should have clarified. I'm not sure if people that got the bonus pre-paid debit have somewhere that says that they need to have their plan unchanged for 12 months or some other fine print.

Do they just give you the modem to bring home and connect yourself or do you need to schedule someone to come install it for you?

You'll get a modem from WW on the spot. I as told to plug it in and 2 hrs later it would work. Since I was busy, I got to my condo after 4-5 hrs. Just plugged it in and it was working right away. I'm not sure what the procedure if one lives in a house. They give you a step by step directions on how to set it up. You create your own network name and a password during a setup. Package contains a modem, a power cord for the modem, a coaxial cable, an ethernet cable, a splitter and caps for unused cable outlets to reduce interference.
