Fido was already offering iPhone 12 - 128GB for $30.50 per month with my existing plan (Discount of $21/month was offered to me for iPhone 12 which would be applied to monthly payments as part of loyalty d).

This is in Ontario

I was able to use the double trade in offer to trade in iPhone XR for $460 and $250 of in store credit to put $600 towards iPhone 12 128 GB to reduce the monthly payment on the device to $5.50 (after Fido loyalty discount of $21) and also add Apple care.

In the end, I was able to keep my plan with loyalty discounts and add monthly payment of $5.50 for the phone for 2 years. The manager also added in Otterbox case and a screen protector as part of promotion.

I paid $137.60 for taxes and reminder of Apple Care+ at the store.

FYI, I visited Wireless wave store in Mapleview Mall.

You can use it towards down payment on the phone and also accessories.

I used it towards the phone and Apple care

Wait, so that $250 can be spread over the 24 months to effectively lower your monthly payments by around $10/mth?
Is this kosher with Fido?

If so, that makes a iPhone 12 mini roughly only $250. Flushed Face

I thought the maxed you can put to reduce your device monthly payment is up to $240.

So what’s the bottom line if we aren’t an existing Fido customer?

You can use all the credit towards down payment but monthly payment may vary based on promotion offered to new customers and sign up for starter monthly plan

Got my iphone pro max 128gb from Vaughan Mills location.

$250 in store credit + $460 trade in for my XR 64GB = $710 total credit applied towards my down payment.

My old plan: 10GB $50 plan

New plan: 25GB $45 Called in loyalty for this plan

Fido waived my device balance of $71

Use SPC CARD for additional $50 credit

Total monthly is $33.34 (tab) + $45 plan= $78.34 + taxes

This is great! How did you get through to loyalty for that plan?

Will this work if I'm with Rogers? I have a 25gb $50 plan that allows financing.

Weird it says the upgrade is only for these phones. Doesn’t talk about iPhones.

Trade-in your old phone (“Trade-in Device”) and receive up to $500 trade-in credit towards the hardware purchase price of Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy S20 FE 5G, Galaxy S21 5G on a new 2-year activation (or upgrade).

2. Do they have access to the $40/10GB Fido deal?

Was the otterbox and screen protector something at the manager's discretion or part of the promotion?

1. Yes they accept the phone as long as it is in good condition and provide you credit which can be used against any phone?

2. Not sure, I kept my current plan
