My favourite game of all time. Upvote for a game that every RPG fan has to try at least once (I'm on my second playthrough Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes).

I know someone mentions that it was on sale for $7 (with coupon) on Epic... but that wasn't supposed to happen. CDPR really like controlling their prices, so I doubt we will see an all time low like that for a long while.

Also if you're going with the PC version I'd give my suggestion to go with GOG. Not only would your money go 100% towards the devs (CDPR owns GOG), GOG is fighting the good fight of being anti-DRM. You don't need a launcher or any sort of DRM protection to get the game going, when you own it you can literally download the game installer and install it offline.

Rumour was proven false, the landing page was also for the 5th anniv sale, and they also have it for 20.98.. didn't include it as didn't think many use epic store for anything other then the free or exclusives.
https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/p ... -hunt/home is their link if someone does want it there.

If you have VPN access to Mexico, you can get Witcher 3 GOTY for $8.16 CAD on GOG.

Love this game but encountered a game braking glitch on my xbox near the end of the main campaign. Couldn't jump past stairs as game thought i was fighting an opponent. Reset game, updated, started very early save, etc. Ended up giving up. A shame as one of my favourite games all time.
Please don’t confuse my kindness for weakness.

Hard to believe this came out 5 years ago. I've been playing it and some parts look absolutely gorgeous. The story telling is top notch, and it's arguably one of the best open-world implementations out there. Take notes, Ubisoft/EA.

I'm gonna say no. I've never tried it but I don't think content from different "stores" are compatible because of DRM. sure there's no DRM from GOG's side, but Steam won't recognize it I don't think.

Do you need to create a separate GOG account for that? I mean separate from your Canadian account. Or would your original account recognize something bought in a different region.

Your same Canadian account will register the Mexican purchase. I know it works because I did this 2 years ago with my own Canadian account.

Thanks for the confirmation. I got this on Switch recently but with cross save functionality I'd be fine with forking out $8 for the PC version.

Stole the GOTY version for $21 on Steam a while back. Having sank 140 hours in it so far, would have gladly paid the full price to CDPROJEKTRED just to support them.
