Hi there,

Make sure to select Shipped and Sold by Amazon.ca. Looks like if you use GCR cash back, it is 10% cash back for kitchen.

It might be cheaper in the past, but that was 2 years ago. Buy it directly from Amazon.ca with GCR, its about the same.

Is the window at top made of plastic or glass?

I am going to speculate, it is glass for this price range.

This is actually 1200W not 750W as WM site states.

Excellent cooker and induction is fantastic, much better than element heating due to precise control.

If I didn't already have a Panasonic and an Instant Pot, I would be all over this.

+1 if they made this a pressure cooker with induction and ceramic coating (and they give us a air fryer lid like Ninja Foodi) it might be really interesting proposition.

Wrong on both counts.

It IS a multi cooker that cooks rice (read the first row of control panel in photo below) as well as other stuff.

It does have a ceramic bowl.
Durable 2mm ceramic spherical bowl with 7 layers
(Inner bowl coating Ceramic with non-stick coating )
It's all a simple google search away for model# RK8048CA

Based on my experience, i do not recommend this product, multi-cooker are like multi-handyman, they handle multiple task at average Joe level...

The real purpose of this is when you dont have space and only rely on this, it can be multi purpose, keep in mind that it is heavy

Similarly I have a Zojirushi NP-NTC18 rice cooker and IP, they each have a job in the kitchen and I am not going to use one to replace the other.

Well. I dont think you understand what is "rice cooker" .
I dont think you understand what is "ceramic rice cooker" either.
Here is a link for ceramic rice cooker

You always can use multi cooker to cook rice but its not a rice cooker.
Same like you can sleep with mutiple people but one of them is your legal wife.

If you consider a gold plated ring as a gold ring, Then this one must be a cermiac rice cooker.

i dont disagree with your reasoning for trying to start this argument but that's a pretty bad analogy/comparison.

rice comes out cooked, they can make an argument to call it a rice cooker.
sleeping with someone does not make them your wife nor would anyone claim so

I bought one from thread mentioned above. The top on my is plastic and definitely the bowl is not ceramic, maybe just a ceramic coating.

However, rice is cooked evenly every time but I have used it only couple of times, too big for one person.
