Purchased this TV less than a month ago for $449 and it's way above my expectations. What are my chances of price matching with my local WM?

Sad what this forum has become, as indicated by OP's massive disclaimer.

Actually the title has the base cost, it was the $300 that was in front of the plus signs that....Wait, read the fine print.

Now, where can we get the damn cheap TV :)
You are over thinking it. All I said was that Alberta is one of the 3-4 provinces with very low tax (and I don't know why I am even considering the other 3 as their combined population is around 100K and Surrey alone is around 400K lol). What I meant was there are probably not that many Albertans (hope I am using the correct term) on RFD. RFD is dominated of Ontarians, Quebecers, followed by British Colombians. Now don't quote me on this but the percentage of people from Alberta on this forum is probably very low like not even 5% (when you consider all the provinces). In other words, nobody cares much about calculating tax at lower rate because 95% (or whatever the number is) RFDers are in 10-15% tax range. Hope this clears it.
0 tolerance for BS.
If I downvote, chances are it's less about the deal, and more about OP's inability to take criticism and constantly favoring their deal due to their ego.

Went to WalMart in Kelowna, BC. Guy told me they aren't clearing the TVs yet, later this week the new models will be coming and the prices should be cutting by a couple hundred on some models.

Will head back if I don't buy a TV before then.

They wouldn't budge on the price with my receipt? Even for $98 off just to get it out the door? Ive had luck asking before on the last item when it was on sale.

I wonder what will happen to our low sales tax and prosperity once the socialist NDP takes power in Alberta (this feels like a bizarro world).

I haven't found any stock in Calgary.
