Worth upgrading from Ipad 5th Gen to Ipad Air 4?

Worth upgrading from Ipad 5th Gen to Ipad Air 4?

I've been contemplating upgrading my Ipad 5th Gen to Ipad Air 4. Is it worth while? I havn't seen any comparisons online. I mainly do web surfing, reddit, youtube, stocks. But have noticed the battery doesn't last as long anymore.

Last time I seen it in store the screen looked fantastic, was buttery smooth, so was intrigued.

Apple online quote me a $155 CAD trade in price. Are we expecting to get something new this year that I should hold off?

I would do it just for the laminated screen

If Apple maintains its yearly release pattern, there should be an Air 5 this year, but it is hard to say with all the uncertainty of Covid and the stuff going on around the world.

My wife upgraded to the Air, I assume it's the 4. She likes the slighly larger screen, bit more lightweight obviously. Also, do not trade in your old IPad, you can get at quite a bit more than that privately.
