Yes, I know it sayd the account must be in good standing in 90 days. Calkl anyway and ask. They may decline, call again. Many people here stated that usually it takes from 1 to a few phone calls, but you do get it. All depends on the agent you speak to.
Absolutely, try for seasonal hold first. Just saying cancelling is not the only other option when the gift card amounts are high, plus extra referral.

Please confirm. TIA
It will be super hot if it is $0 upfront. They pay us to get the Q6. $300 GC - $240 small tab - $12 GST AB tax = $48 in pocket
The phone is $0 on a tab small

I recommend doing a seasonal hold for 90 days instead of cancelling right away. Doing a referral will cancel out what you need to pay to hold it for three months. The person that signed you up will get commission, you won't get blacklisted by Walmart in future and the referral link you use will make another person happy. There's more upside then downside. I didn't have any issue asking for seasonal hold just 10 minutes after I got my phone.

sorry I didn't see that in the thread, I read most of the threads and am looking for a new phone now... So if TMS or another retailer matches Walmart's GC policy then probably better to trade in phone there + get the gift cards I'm guessing?

should i give email to existing koodo customer before starting referral progress.
1. Click one of the referral links that you've been inundated with and enter your email and name.
2. Then head over to Wow/ Wal-Mart/ Koodo and sign up for a 2 year plan.
3. Click the link in the email that was sent to you after step 1, and enter your new phone number.

Bada boom, $50 credit.... "please allow 8 weeks for the credit to appear in your account".

$300 Walmart GC or $200 WoW prepaid? I don't shop at Walmart but if converting GC to credit is possible this would be great. Anyone had luck doing so in Montreal?

Which is the better phone deal: iPhone 6 or iPhone SE or Q6 - taking into consideration quality, performance and price. I know nothing about specs etc - so am hoping the phone experts here can guide me. TIA

Might be getting the Q6 this weekend.

So basically I go to Walmart, tell them I want a small tab, + the LG Q6, give them my referral information and pay whatever it costs for the Sim/new activation. I'll get the GC (is it a 300$ Walmart GC? Or prepaid cc?). Wait a few days to switch billing cycle to "Seasonal hold", then cancel on day 91?
