Pulled the trigger, I'm currently a Koodo customer and instead of making the trip to Wow I spoke with a CSR who gave me the $0 tab Med for the S9 and I was able to keep my plan Please post here if you get better results so we can all save some dough, cheers!

Wow Mobile offers $50 trade in value for any old/broken phone with a valid IMEI. It can be used to buy accessories or pay towards any upfront down payment cost.

I'm currently on a MB $48 5GB BYOD plan with Koodo. Can I get a new phone at WOW? Do not want to change my plan because there is an employee discount on it. I suspect if there is any change I would lose the discount.

Just talk to Koodo customer service and threaten to leave for another provider, they'll do their best to make you happy, as they did for me earlier today.

I thought you couldn't use the $50 trade in credit if you owed 0 upfront with the medium tab (they would give you $50 worth of accessory credit or something if you traded in a phone).

Getting the small tab allows you to apply the $50 to the amount owing up front, making it 120 - 50. I could be wrong in my understanding though, so someone could correct me.

You are correct. But you might want to stay for 3 months with Koodo unless you want wow mobile to block you from future deals
