WTF is this weed/flower in my lawn?

Talking about the tiny white flowers and how do I get rid of it?

Will need a closer look at the flowers. Might be a multitude of things.

The weeds are too far away to get a positive ID but I would hazard a guess that it's clover. If your lawn is low in nitrogen, clover shows up because it is a nitrogen fixer.

I had a bunch of these as well, and figured out it was clover. When you pull on them, you'll find it attached to longer viney things that run along the ground, usually in patches where you see the characteristic 3-leaf clover. The white part is just the flower. I got rid of huge patches by spraying, but I was trying to kill the lawn/grass and start from scratch, so I used roundup. But I find manually removing it quite easy as the root system is not very deep and you can just follow the vines of it.
In the areas I sprayed, I've reseeded and it's grown back quite nicely in 2 weeks. Have not seen clover show up again, though some other weeds are popping through still.

You do know that weeds love fertilizer too, right?

I'm trying to encourage clover in our yard. It is huge and I want something that survives well without watering. We have a mixture of grass and clover. I love it.

Not that I've noticed.

Clover is a common additive to grass seed. Resists drought and looks green, plus attracts cute bunnies
