Probably just some kids running their own site to price match stuff. But it's only 40 less then Mike's and 60 less then Amazon.

This site doesn't look fake. They do have a store front, I have been there. It is actually there. Can't speak for the reputation though

I PM'ed Mike's Computer Shop last week (they have it for $540) to their $515 shipped. Worked out to $512.50 + tax. Thankful I passed on all the overpriced 1060s and got something really solid for my Rift.

Canada,Eh!
I phoned them last week and they had none in stock, nor any ETA as to when they'd be getting more.

Both stores claimed to be dry, and nothing at their suppliers either.

Oddly, Best Buy, Mike's & Staples has it available, but higher $.

Bloody Miners!!!!!!!!

The Oculus Summer Sale is great, but terrible timing for the GPU deprived.

Same problem here... I really want to take advantage of the rift summer offer...
Is the 1070 gtx a real option for the rift? Or it is 1080 gtx or nothing? I mean... I used to be a gamer, so I am a little picky...

I hope Vega will shake the market the 14th!

1070 is more than enough, im running it on one of my 290X's, albeit heavily overclocked. Robo Recall sits mostly at 90fps, the odd drop to 45. The 1070 is a perfect card for the current HMD's. Vega 56 from what i understand is gonna beat out the 1070 at the same price point, but with more power usage.

I like how this is "too good to be true" now. 2 months ago the this card at normal retail was only $450

I don't get this card... The 1060 runs everything at 1440p and you need the 1080gtx to run 4k. why go in between?
Paying full price for an item is a sin.

Nonsense. Do the research and don't mislead people.

970/1060 is for 1080p (the 3GB version is okay, 6GB version much better and more future-proof)
980Ti/1070/1080 is for 1440p (1080 is a bit overkill)
1080/1080Ti is for 4K (1080Ti much more preferably)

1070 Mini for $500 + tax is an excellent deal. Great post OP. I'd be buying it if I didn't get a very solid deal on a water-cooled 980Ti.

Also yes, the 1070 is excellent and definitely sufficient for the Rift.

This store is 100% legit. I ordered 6 of these cards a month or so ago.. I was a little worried for the same reasons but all the cards were mailed out quick so i have no complaints with them at all.

4k gaming on the 1080 isn't always a thing. I have a 1080 and most games run at 60fps in 4k...but games like PUBG absolutely destroy the card.
